Room 8's culture day
Everyone is so happy from the amazing cultural outfits that the students are wearing! We focused on Saint Patrick 's day. Patrick was born in Roman Britain. His birthname was Maewyn. Patrick was kidnapped to Ireland but he escaped to France where he became a christian.
We have been studying Ireland and these hats that we are wearing are called the Three leaf shamrock which represents Trinity (Father, Son & Holy Spirit.) The Ireland flag is Green (Southern Ireland) Orange (Northern Ireland) and white in the middle represents Peace between North and south Ireland.
